Mechanical/ Electrical Fitter (Temp- Perm)
Plymouth client are looking for a multi skilled mechanical/ electrical fitter. Must have experience of doing both electrical & mechanical fault finding, repairs, assembly and the like. This will be a temporary to permanent role, meaning at the end of 12 weeks you would go onto a permanent contract. Initially the rate would be £8.44/hr, but after the 12 week period you would then be included in the companies bonus scheme which could see your rate rising by as much as £2.00/hr. This is an excellent opportunity with a strong engineering firm in the area.

Manual Miller (Permanent)
Our client in Newton Abbot is looking for a skilled manual miller on a permanent basis. Ideally you will have pro track control x,y,z experience, but an experienced manual miller would still be suitable. This is a permanent nights position working 4 nights only (Mon-Thursday), covering 12-hour shifts. The salary is £10.80/hr, which comprises (£9.00 basic + 20% for the night shift). With overtime you would be looking at a salary in excess of £26,000. This is an excellent opportunity with a strong engineering firm. You will do a week training on day shift (£9.00/hr), then go onto the night shift (£10.80/hr).

Upholsterer required for Plymouth based company. They are looking for people who can upholster headboards, cushions & wall linings. The pay is £6.50/ hour. It is temporary to permanent position.

Maintenance Engineer (Permanent)
Our client in Cornwall is looking for a Maintenance Engineer with experience within food manufacturing environments. This is a permanent position, working day shift only Monday to Friday, with a salary of £20,000.
You will work on a wide variety of machines that are involved in food manufacturing including:
- Packing machines
- Conveyors
- Rack ovens
- Chiller’s/ Refrigeration
You will be located close to some of the best beaches in the country and it is a straight day shift, with overtime being paid if you have to work late or on weekends.
This position is only eligible to those candidates who can legally work in the UK.
Fabricator/ Sheetmetal Worker (Temp- Perm)
Our client based in Plymouth is a traditional engineering company & they are looking for a fabricator/ sheetmetal person to join their team. The salary is negotiable, between £9 – 12/hr dependant on experience. The amount of work coming in to them has risen dramatically & as such they are looking for a good all rounder that has experience in the following:
- Scribing out
- Folding
- Rolling
- Fabricating
- Welding
- Assembly to given sizes
Based on the amount of work this is likely to lead to a permanent position, but this will be dependant on the business continuing with its growth.
Technical Manager (Permanent)
Our client in Devon are looking for a Technical Manager with CAD experience. It is essential you have shopfitting/ joinery background for this role. The salary is circa £30,000 but may be higher for the right candidate.
You will be reporting directly to the Technical Director & will be managing a team consisting of:
- 2 x CAD Technicians
- 1 x CNC Programmer
- 1 x Estimator
The suitable person must:
- Have a strong understanding of shop- fitting furniture manufacture & preferably a hands-on joinery based background from a similar market sector
- Be a competent user of CAD and/or solid modelling software
Other duties to include:
- Creation of 3D solid models using Inventor & associated Autodesk software
- Creation of design visualisation from 3D models
- Creation of cutting lists & bills of materials using Microsoft Excel
- Sourcing of proprietary materials ensuring cost effective and available stock levels
- Willing to travel to site to cover project management
- Internal supervision of prototype manufacture

GRP Laminator(Temp- Perm)
GRP Finisher required for Kidderminster based company. The main purpose of role is producing the decks, hulls and internal mouldings with glass fibre lamination to a high quality standard. Suitable candidate must be able to roll, gel coat and hand lay. Experience in glass reinforced plastics (GRP) lamination is a pre-requisite.
Pay rates are £7.00/hour or £8.00/hour dependant on skills and experience.
